I have come to the conclusion that there are a significant number of people in this country who still don't get it. It's going to take a couple or three more 9/11s, and I'm not kidding.
Reality is reality, and this is what I don't think enough people are facing. The reality is that we're at war with a worldwide enemy that is intent on as many more 9/11s as possible. But I think people either don't believe that it's that bad or don't want to believe it, so they put their heads in the sand.
All this is upside down. We're spending all this time worried about the enemy, post-9/11. Why do we never hear the American left and the American media talk about the barbarian acts of torture that are created and performed by our enemies? You never hear a bad thing about these people at all. They're just a bunch of disadvantaged, misunderstood, misled people. They believe nonsense like "If we could just sit down and talk to them, we could straighten them out". People like John Kerry and Cindy Sheehan could do this in their minds. And I'm telling you, it's upside down.

I agree with this totally. All over the news back then, it showed the entire country over there cheering to the last child when the towers fell. The entire population was overjoyed at the damage done to the heathen Americans.
The people over there are taught to hate America and all we stand for from birth. Sorry folks, but talking won't do s*** to help that mentality change.
